Autism Courses and Workshops for Parents/Carers

Courses and Workshops for families who have children or young people of any age who are pre- or post-assessment for Autism.

Topics covered include:

  • Introduction to Autism: What is Autism? Sensory differences, Assessment overview
  • Autism and Anxiety: What is anxiety? Knowing when my child is anxious, Supporting my child
  • Autism and Behaviour: Behaviour detective, Strategies, Signposting and support
  • Topic based workshops ie ‘Dual Diagnosis (ADHD and Autism)’
  • Questions and Answers
  • Opportunity to talk to other parents and carers

We also run a Sensory Processing Workshop which may be of interest.

 

Berkshire East

For those registered with a Berkshire East NHS GP surgery or living in the Berkshire East NHS area (Bracknell Forest, Slough, Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead). Funded by the Berkshire East NHS CCG area Autism and ADHD provider GEMS4Health.

Berkshire West

Covid Precautions: Please do not attend if you are unwell.
