Community Support Groups

Parenting Special Children has several established local community support groups for families of children and young people with additional needs.

Aims of the Support Groups:

  • Provide a safe and supportive environment to share experiences and gain support with the unique challenges faced by families of children with additional needs
  • Establish support/social networks for families
  • Provide a half hour topic presentation relevant to parenting a child with additional needs. The remainder of the session will be for discussion of the topic and social support time

Children welcome under parent supervision. Refreshments provided. Please bring a packed lunch for sessions which run over lunch time.

Slough: Save the Date: Wednesdays, 10am-12pm on 11th September, 23rd October, 13th November and 4th December 2024.

Bracknell: Save the Date: Thursdays, 12.30-2.30pm on 26th September, 24th October, 28th November and 12th December 2024.

Reading: Save the Date: Fridays, 9.15-11.15am on 20th September, 11th October, 15th November and 13th December 2024.
