Sensory Processing Workshop

A single workshop for parent/carers of children and young people who may have difficulties with Sensory Processing, whether they have received a diagnosis or not. This is a common factor for children and young people with Autism or ADHD.

These workshops are open to all parents/carers who live in Berkshire.

Topics covered include:

  • What is Sensory Processing?
  • Unpicking the science behind Sensory Processing
  • Sensory overload, sensory seeking behaviour – what does this mean?
  • Strategies to support child/young person better and manage levels of sensory arousal


This service was commissioned by the CCGs, part of the NHS in the west and east of Berkshire.


Please note: These workshops are only suitable for Parents/Carers. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare, or accommodate children.

  • COST Free for Berkshire parent/carers. A number of paid for places are available at £15 per person for non-Berkshire parents/carers and £25 for practitioners. A refundable £5 booking deposit is required for all attendees (plus non-refundable Eventbrite booking fee).
