Sleep Courses and Workshops for Parents/Carers of children and young people

For parents/carers who have children and young people (aged 2-18) with Special Needs who struggle with their sleep.

We run the following courses and workshops:

Berkshire West

Sleep for Parents/Carers of Children and Young People with additional needs – For those registered with a Berkshire West NHS GP surgery (Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham). Funded by the Berkshire West Autism and ADHD Support Service in partnership with Autism Berkshire.

Berkshire East

Pre and Post Assessment Workshop: SLEEP and Autism/ADHD – For those registered with an Berkshire East NHS GP surgery (Bracknell Forest, Slough, Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead). Funded by the Berkshire East NHS CCG area Autism and ADHD provider GEMS4Health.

  • The reasons behind night settling and night waking
  • Strategies to feel less stressed when sleep training
  • New parenting strategies for settling your child to sleep, and staying asleep

Please note: These courses and workshops are only suitable for Parents/Carers. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare, or accommodate children unless otherwise stated.

  • COST Varies - dependent on funding
  • DURATION Varies by event
  • DELIVERED BY A trained Sleep Practitioner, who is also a parent of children with specific learning needs
  • FREQUENCY Courses and workshops are typically delivered once per term per area
