The A Team: Awesome Autism/ADHD

Monthly groups for Berkshire girls and young women who are Autistic and/or have ADHD to meet, socialise, have fun and try new things. We have a few tickets available for non-Berkshire girls.

The A Team: Awesome Autism/ADHD (age 8/school year 3 to age 18).

The aims of the group is:

• To build confidence
• For them to try new experiences
• To stretch them out of their comfort zone
• To teach skills for self regulation (e.g. mindfulness)
• To discuss challenges they may face and how to deal with them (e.g. starting new school, relationships) using different methods (e.g. scenarios/ drama work)
• To give them an understanding of others reactions and give them coping strategies
• To celebrate difference

Parents and carers may stay on site and attend our Autistic/ADHD Girls Parents/Carers Support Group. You can attend the support group without a child attending The A Team. Please book a Parent/Carer ticket.

Parents/carers of children who require 1:1 support will need to stay in the session with the child.

We are unable to accommodate children, other than those attending The A Team session, unless otherwise stated.
