Dads and Male Carers Support Group: Importance of Self Regulation Part 1 – Zoom

For birth fathers & male carers (adoptive parents, foster and kinship carers) of children who have experienced trauma/have special needs.

Topic: Importance of Self Regulation Part 1: Polyvagal Theory and Strategies.

Date: Tuesday 12 January 2021

Time: 7.30-9.30pm

Cost: £5 for Berkshire parent/carers, £10 for non-Berkshire parent/carers

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund this event is at minimal cost to dads and male carers. It will be led by specialist parenting practitioner Peter Burton. Other areas of PSC work receive no funding at all, for example our Helpline, so we are always grateful for any donations however large or small.

We would advise setting up your own free Zoom account.

Zoom will ask you to register/sign in to the event so please allow time for this before it starts. The event link, event ID and password will be in your Eventbrite registration confirmation email – click the red event button. Please check your junk folder! A reminder will be sent on the morning of the event.

The events are best viewed on a PC or laptop. Please have the latest version of Zoom installed. You can download the software here: https://zoom.us/download#client_4meeting

Please note that we require 7 days notice of cancellation to provide a refund. Eventbrite booking fees are non-refundable.
