Pre and Post Assessment Workshop SLEEP and Autism/ADHD: Berkshire East – Zoom
For parent/carers of children and young people with Autism and/or ADHD who struggle with their sleep, who are registered with a Berkshire East NHS GP surgery (Bracknell Forest, Slough, Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead).
The workshop will cover:
– Children’s sleep cycles and sleep needs
– The reasons behind night settling and night waking
– Strategies to feel less stressed when sleep training
– New parenting strategies for settling your child to sleep, and staying asleep
Date: Monday 11th October

This workshop was funded by East Berkshire NHS and commissioned by GEMS. It will be lead by Helen Cattermole and Jennie Kettell.
Our specialist Sleep Practitioners have all been trained by the Southampton NHS Sleep Service and have professional backgrounds in learning disability nursing, social work and teaching. Most importantly, they are also parent/carers of children and teenagers with additional needs.
Zoom will ask you to register/sign in so please allow time for this before the event starts. The event link, ID and password will be in your Eventbrite registration confirmation email. Please check your junk folder! A reminder will be sent on the day of the event.
