Sensory Processing and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID): Berkshire – Zoom

For parent/carers of, and professionals working with, children and young people who have Sensory Processing difficulties.

Children with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) can experience sensory processing difficulties relating to food and mealtimes. This workshop will consider some of the complexities of how the sensory experience of mealtimes may impact on eating as well as discuss strategies to support children with this. The child/young person does not need to have received a diagnosis for you to attend this workshop.

Date: Tuesday 18 January

Time: 10am – 12pm

Cost: £10 Berkshire Parent/Carers, £20 Berkshire Professionals

The workshop will be lead by Paediatric Occupational Therapist Amy Plumer. For PSC, Amy delivers workshops on Sensory Processing and Interoception, facilitates the Autistic Girls Monthly Workshops, and our social group for Autistic/ADHD Girls: The A Team.

The usual cost of this workshop is higher. We are able to offer it at a reduced price thanks to funding from The Greenham Trust via The Good Exchange.
