Content of the course:

• Understand the importance of sleep for the whole family’s health and wellbeing.
• Learn about the biology of sleep.
• Understand the reasons behind sleep difficulties and why they are more common in children and adults with learning difficulties.
• Learn about strategies for settling children to sleep and staying asleep and strategies for enabling adults to sleep well.

Any information discussed will be treated in confidence.

The course will be delivered by Helen Tracey and Helen Cattermole, two experienced PSC Sleep Practitioners. All of our Sleep Practitioners have been trained by the Southampton NHS Specialist Sleep Clinic and have a professional background in nursing, social work and education.

Zoom will ask you to register/sign in so please allow time for this before the event starts. Please note that if you request an invoice and don’t pay on time, and the attendee doesn’t attend, you will still be liable for payment of the invoice.
