Sleep for Parents/Carers of Children and Young People with Additional Needs – Zoom

For Berkshire and non-Berkshire families who have children & young people with additional needs who struggle to sleep.
Our specialist Sleep Practitioners have all been trained by the Southampton NHS Sleep Service and have professional backgrounds in learning disability nursing, social work and teaching. Most importantly, they are also parent/carers of children and teenagers with additional needs.
The workshop will cover:
- Children’s sleep cycles and sleep needs
- The reasons behind night settling and night waking
- Strategies to feel less stressed when sleep training
- Strategies for settling your child to sleep, and staying asleep
Date: Tuesday 21st November.
Time: 7-9pm.
Cost: £5 Berkshire parents/carers and £10 non-Berkshire parents/carers (plus Eventbrite fee).
The workshop will be lead by specialist sleep practitioners Helen Cattermole and Helen Tracey.
