Teen Brain Matters: Berkshire – Zoom
A workshop for parents/carers with a child who lives, or attends a school, in Berkshire.
The Teen Brain Matters workshop combines the latest understanding of neuroscience and developmental psychology with practical strategies to help families understand the changes teenagers are going through, and how they can support. The workshop has been developed by The Charlie Waller Trust and Dr John Coleman, a psychologist and author with an international reputation for his work on the teenage years.
The workshop will be delivered by Jo Billington, a member of the parenting team at PSC. Jo is also a mental health trainer for the Charlie Waller Trust, a lecturer and researcher specialising in the wellbeing of children/young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and parent to two autistic boys.
The Charlie Waller Trust is a charity which helps people to look after their mental health by providing free training and resources. Find out more at charliewaller.org.
Date: Wednesday 24th February
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Cost: Free. Please note we are only able to offer places to parents/carers with a child who lives, or attends a school, in Berkshire.
